cable crimp?

my winch cable snapped  there still plenty on the winch i just thought i could just add hook there and have it crimped  does anyone know what company that does crimp the cable together?

i dont crimp cable , i braid loops on the end and use a singe clamp. if you know anybody that works in the logging industry they should be able to show you how it properly.

hmm, maybe upgrade to something a lil stronger?

i know you CAN crimp it, but the braided end is the strongest

You can also cable clamp it..
they are a bolt on u-bolt type clamp.. installed correctly they will hold up well,, take proper safety precautions ( ie... get WELL out of the way, cable dampener etc...)

best results are a braid and clamp.
