78 ford linkages

me and a buddy are pulling the tranny in his 78 ford 4x4 f150. how are we supposed to take the linkages off? there isnt no cotter pins or anything. thanks, josh

stick or auto? linkage for transfercase or rans shifter

some have  c clips,  some just  pop lose, and some have pins

its a 460 bigblock with an auto trans. i'll take another look at it

its prolly a roll pin that u have to nock out with a punch....might be coverd with dirt and u cant see it...
