I want to put 38.7 inch tall tires on my '85 K10. it has a 4" lift in it right now with the factory driveshaft. If I put a 1" add a leaf to get 5" or a new set of springs for a 6" lift will I have to replace the driveshafts?

When I put the 6" lift in my old 86 chevy long box I had to lengthen the front shaft but the rear was fine. ==shrug

Where'd you take your driveshaft to get lengthened? How much did it cost?

welder and a grinder you can do one yourself good enough for an offroader, DD just take a little extra care to be sure it's straight.
