Ford 9"

Hey guys, just picked up a Ford 9" and a Dana 44 for my 93 F150, ? is, I dont hear to much about people running 9" in their trucks, are they a pretty good axle for mudding?

there   good axles,  just  stay under a  40" tire.  and  500 hp

Lol im right on the line... 38.5's and about 450ish in the 351 im gunna drop in it!!!!

i ran one all last year and never had a problem

only bad thing about them is they are only 5 lug and you are eventually going to want 8 lug axles

You could probobly have some custom made but as far as I know they never made a 9" with 8 lugs ==shrug

I run 9 and 44 with 35 boggers  broke alot of stock shafts in the front only broke one in the rear I put chromemoly all in been good  ;D
