BAD EXPERIANCE WITH GENESYS HEALTH PARK

  Took 3 hours for their in house ambulance service to show up to take my son to Hurley. The doctor sent him there cause she thought he had pneumonia, and they transferred him to Hurley cause they don't specialize in anything. And can't handle young children.

your olney  saying one side of  story.  was they  scraping  people off the  xway.  or on other  runs.   and  for them to say you  child would be  better  at  hurley.    maby  your child  will be  taken care of  better there. thats a good thing.

 there  good and  bad  every where you go.   sounds  to me  there looking out  for  you little one and  giving him the best care.

no they screwed randy and his family. his son was born very premature and was in the hospital for a long time. hes been home for just a short time and got very sick again. theres no other side of the story. when your dealing with a child that needs medical attention ASAP they should have sent him out right then and there. im very pissed of at genesys!!! that baby needed help fast and they mad randy and his wife sit for almost 3 hours while there new born is laying there that sick!

i dont  want to say  nothing  wrong  but  hurley  is  a  better  hospital  for  kids.    he will be taken  care better  at hurley.

like  i said  you  olney  know  half  of it.    if  they don't have the right  crew there  for the  little one.  it  could have  been  worse by sending  it with all the  wrong  staff of  people.    you  was in a  hospital,  not  on the  side of the  road.

No Ranger Dave... They have an in house ambulance service, that takes people to different hospitals that specializes in stuff they don't which is nothing... I know they may have been busy... But this wasn't the first time to make us wait for a long time....  Even our family doctor was not happy. She called them her self and told them that was unacceptable.

ON A BETTER NOTE..... He is doing fine. Maybe coming home tomorrow... And our daughter Emily is still on a ventilator, but is doing better. Thanks for all your support.

i'm gonna have to side with BrownCow on this one everytime i've taken me or the kid's there we've had to wait and wait and it's not fair to the people who have to pay for their services'. my son had a rock stuck in his nose ans we were there for 6 hours before we even saw a nurse, i went in for "lady problem's" and it was 4 hours before they even saw me. the genesy in flint on beecher is only open untill 9 but if something happens to us during the day thats where we go now. the doctor's are friendly and the nurses very helpful

it sounds  like  if he was that  bad  they would have  got the  helle chopper out and took him there.    and i don't  know  any hospital  that is  fast at  anything.    

and i know the in house amblunce,  they  call them people as needed.  there  not  waiting  for  calls.   and it  mite  have  took them lonmger than you liked.

    

and  it  don't  mattrer  who sides  with  who.     i still say  hurley  is a bertter place for your  little  one.   if you  ask me they did the right thing.


the main thing is  your little ones  going to be ok.

i heard good & bad about genesys, ive had good luck goin there, but heard of others hating it...
i hope your boy is in better hands now Randy, i know your twins came a little early & my prayers are with ya buddy

Thanks BD. A little up date on the kids. Nathan is out of the hospital and at home. And Emily is off her ventilator. She ripped out her own tube. I know that hurley is best place for kids. The only reason we go to Genesys is cause of that is where our doctor goes. She is the best doctor I've ever had. All the others have be quacks. Me and my wife appreciate everybody care and support.
