price on scrap truck

im looking a buying a truck out of a junk yard and wondering what you think they would charge or what you pay?

its a 88 k5 w/out motor or trans

some places might not sell them out of scrap...

but if they do... its going to be based per ton..... probably double scrap value or more

they will but id like the whole truck so i can which out the parts and build that into my toy rig

Out here they charge twice what they pay. So if scrap is $50/ ton you pay $100/ ton.

depends on the yard,some just run it back on the scale and the there is others that figure what they can get out of it parting it out,if its fairs what ever it weighs is what you pay

When I was looking for a car to build I when to just about every yard in flint and non of them would sell a whole vehicle out of the yard just parts only. but like mudlight said depends on the yard.

Yeh they wouldn't  because of was in the police book but he gave me a good deal on the parts
