cut boggers ?

just wondering if any body has run cut boggers in the sand and what you think and if thats all you have run is boggers or different tires

All i can say is BOGGERs hook up more being cut no matter where you are mud snow sand ect . your either moving forward or going down

Cutting tires is just that cutting parts of the tire off, to make it better suited for ur own aplication, with boggers it usaly means cutting off the lil lugs in the center of the tire.....

i have a set of cut 44 boggers and wouldnt run a set not cut after cutting them

i took road worn 35 boggers and cut them..shaved is a good term also...took the smallest knob and removed it..took the rubber between the knobs and took it down close to the cords.. took and made the knobs smaller and cupped the leading edge of the knob...  tire wieghed 31 lbs before i started.. wieghed 21 when done.. they worked awesome in the sand..  the guy put them on the rear of his dune buggy

there is guys out west that cut out the little lug like right there, and groove the big lug at an angle, so the tire flexes more. conforms around the rocks and other obstacles better

if you feal the need to cutt up a tire that has bean engeneered  buy a company with lots of time and money invested you need a set of paddls i had 44 bogger the digg fast enough

well if you have to cut a tire to do what you want you have the wrong tire there is alot diffrent tires so sell them and buy what works

This isnt really true.  Cutting the smaller lugs off Boggers make them closer to a paddle tire... but yet not quite a paddle. Paddles will get tore to hell if you wheel them at say, The Mounds.

Modifying tires is a great thing if you know what you are doing.
