i want to build my motor by myself but i want a little help dose anyone know where i can buy a video that show how to build a chevy small block?

I believe there was one (old) put out by the late Lingenfelter on How-To Build A Small Block Chevy. I've got the book but I think there was a video as well.

go to borders books if they have them by you and look in the automotive section. i bought a how-to book a long time ago that not only was a very detailed book but also included a step by step video on dissassembly cleaning and rebuilding the engine. didn't include performance mods but there are other books for that as well

You can learn the basics by watching a Video but you need a book on the motor you are building because that will have things such as torque specs, torque sequence, bearing clearances and other details that a video probably wont have.  However a video would be great for step by step tear down procedures.
