Ready to start my restoration of a 1978 k5. Was just wondering if anyone has played around with this stuff. Does it do well when covered in mud? How strong it is? Just looking for something to do like axles and stuff and still look good a couple years later.

Yeah I plan on taking everything down to bare metal. I painted my axles about two  years ago and they are already showing signs of surface rust. Would like to find something that lasts longer
