thats what a 7.5'' rear dont expect it to last long, axles break often. if its 8.5 rear little better. just my opinion.

spools dont work good on the street

i dont know if your gonna like it...they are pretty rough on axles and bearings and on themselves, make sure you get it in their tight, they usually come with a couple spacers, if its in there loose it will tear itself apart.

you sure its a mini-spool, not a spool? and it's also probably a 12 bolt, not a puny 7.5

your gonna chew your tires up quick man every time you even weave in your lane the pavement's gonna take a lil bite outa them tires, might wana look into a locker or ltd slip instead of that spool bud especially for the street... spool will get dangerous when it gets a lil wet out there

It will be fine. I doubt your worried about tire wear with that tire frier you got there. Parking or tight turns might be a issue tho.

Alot of guys think of Mini Spools because they are so cheap..........usually less than 125.00 for one.

But as mentioned, they are hard on axle components.......and the smaller the axle.......the weaker that axle is.

If it was a 10 bolt or better yet.....a 12 bolt I'd say dont worrie about it.

I have seen guys run these on the street in muscle cars.............but they might be running stronger axle shafts.....ect......in order to handle all that torque being delivered to both wheels at once.

I would look at a EATON limited slip or a Auburn Gear limited slip.........somthing that has clutches/springs........and is rebuildable.

Once you grenade a spooled or welded rear axle.....your fked..........most if not all the internals will be junk.

it is a 10 bolt just a 7.5" ring gear and not one of the bigger bigger  7.625, 8.5 or 8.6. this is going in a street car and when i get my tax return im throwing around the idea of a set of moser direct replacement axle shafts too now

and as for if it gernade's......... just give's me a reason to fix it bigger and better loll

if you run moser axles you will have to run c clip eliminators on the axles,( with the spool,) with a posi unit you can get moser c clip axles they are a little cheaper, i just switched over to a spool in my s10 axle cost wise is about 400. between the two set ups,

camok10

i have a mini not a full spool and with the stock replacement moser axles i can still run the c-clip's ;D

Strapless

Mini are intended for dirt track racing where they don't hook. They break on cars that hook. Summit won't even sell you one if you tell them its for street strip. Good luck. Especially running c clip axles. Real dangerous.
