I have always tan low loc, but on the 19 th at delaney bog i threw it in high and it seemed to work just fine for me with my 455 and 4.88 gears so i guess i will see what it does in warmer weather.

i use low when crawling or climbing and rarely actually use high its either 2 wheel or 4 low unless im just on terrain im unsure about then i use 4 hi

In my CJ I was 4 low.  I crawled threw everything. and I didnt have to give it much gas to do it.
The Wagoneer is High. Can get it to go into 4 Low with the Linkage and vacuum line broke.

It all depends on the event or the mud.. Most of the time even with 5.87 gears i run in low lock... Just seems to work better when i get into deep mud

Well I try to always use 4-hi. 4-low with 3.55 on 32s is just.....well it's too much lol even with the little 5.2 in my 97 Ram.

For all the people that say that low range is to  much.....you mean it is at redline in low range in 3rd or Drive (depends on tranny) ?????

4 hi usually.... old motor, i try to keep the bottom end in tact. seems to do better in it anyways. 4 low is only when i gotta do a slow pull on a hard surface

thinking high rangein the new jeep way more wheel speed to stay on top with.       low is great for wickin it.      heavy trucks with big tires use low and save the trans

vie got a 208transfer case with schmitty internals  9:1 ratio so i have to run 4 hi

I have to run low i only have 4:10 gears with 42 and a half inch tractor tires and a stock for 460 the 205 transfer case doesnt help either i need a 208 that would help some
