i got a turbo 350, when it gets hot after 10-15min of driving, it lags really bad shifting between 2nd and 3rd. When it does finally decide to shift, it slowly slips into 3rd. I know the pump is working. just not sure if its in the valve body or a clutch pack or what. maybe governor? going to rebuild it myself, just want an idea what it could be before i get into it. thanks.

it could be a cracked o ring. you wount realy know until you get into it.

mutt truck

when was the last time the filter was replaced? I am not 100% sure but if you have a plugged filter that may cause problems with it heating up.

might be able to get ahold of a good used stock valve body. thought about throwing one in to see if it fixes it before i pull the trans.
