did somthin stupid ..thought id share

messin round with truck earlier trin to put lift on it..
got a great idea to cut shackle bolts cause i got new ones
.... stupid me there compressed......boy did i come out from under the truck

You mite ought to wrap some chain around your leafs when you go to cuttin the u-bolts, they can have deadly pressure on them even if the weight of the truck is not on them, somebody might have squeezed the leaf pack together with the center bolt and if that one bolt right there breaks then it goes bang, maybe it flies outta there and gets all over ya, send ya home all skinned up or worse. Some of these things on these trucks can hurt or kill you. I have seen some real bad things happen real fast.

we have all done not so bright things workin on our rides hopefully by sharing it prevents someone else from hurting them selves .my gramps used to tell me every mistake should be lesson
