According to the info on the parts the CV shafts are the same.  I thought the A arms were longer on the 3/4 ton but not sure.

KORNBREAD

just get a 4:10 set for your 1/2 ton set up. Not enough strength difference between the 3/4 ton front and your front to do all that swapping.

gotta split the diff. pain in the ==kma... just find one that has the gear ya want, and swap the diff. dunno bout the compatibility, but i know it would be easier then puttin gears into a case

They are longer and there are more differences, studs on the ball joints, bucha stuff. Gotta use the entire setup, and them a-arms are hard to get loose.

OHEARN.2012

so id be better going three quarter ton with a sas then ifs?

that little get up and go might save your ass one day. id rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. plus it would be a little easier on the engine.

OHEARN.2012

well with going three quarter ton wouldnt i get bigger beefier breaks?

I would do the 3/4 ton sas if it was me. You get beefier everything and its alot tougher set-up if done correctly ;D
