how do you get one out of the block?  when i got this motor, the tube was broken off at the base of the head, so i obviously need to replace it.  how do i go about doing that?  do i need to tap it out from the bottom end?

next question.... how do i know what size of new one to get?!

thanks, Cory.  now, how do i choose the correct replacement one?  do they have certain part numbers, or is it universal?  i would think O'Reilly or Advance would have a replacement part for it.

PB Blast it first, then stick a phillips screwdriver in it that fits pretty close, wrap a rag around it and clamp your vice-grips on and twist back and forth and pull at the same time. Not much twist, and lots of pull, and wiggle it just a little bit.  ;D

Yankee Hick

wow, didn't even have to pull the pan!  just grabbed onto the remaining part of the tube connected to the block (next to the base of the head), twisted and pulled!  derrrrr!!!!!  i know, i know.....  i'm a NOOB!
