transmission coolers ???

soo my dad gave me 2 gm coolers that came of from 1 ton trucks  i used one for trans and one for the  steering  ? is that they have the small square tubes like a alluminum radiator has  will these small tube restrict the flow  the steering started to squeel after i put it on there  soo im asuming  the one on the trans  is duin the same as far as restricting  the flow

rember this  is a quess.

could be  low on fluid. useing it will get the air pockets out of it.
hoses could be hooked up backwards
maby the cooler need to be after the gearbox.


  just some ideas. sence i never seen it,

forgot to mention it has hydro steer  tsc ram  good valve and lines the cooler is hooked to the return on the steer valve then to the return on gm  hydro boost pump                 problem solved
