if you have a  older  ford  frame, go with a  older  ford D60

go with 70s no ball joints. go with kingpin front end other than that all the same.

not sure what the frame is but its all leaf spring  its got to be frome the 70s  and how do you tell them apart if there older or not

this is ford frame?  the only thing that i know is the steering box mounting and the type of steering. 3/4 and 1ton from 1973 up 1977 use power ass. that is mounted to the tie rod. 1978-1979 use a gear box. the frames are different in those years. that is 4x4 frames. 1/2 tons is all by it self.

ok thanks, also how do you tell the differance between older dana 60 fronts and newer ones? like is the pumpkin in a different spot or is the axle is narrower or somthing like that

71 Highboy

I put a 94 axle under my 71 highboy, had to outboard my springs 1 3/4 on both sides. highboy frames are narrower than non highboy
