friend of mine has an lt1 and was wondering if ls1 headers would fit he found a set of ls1 long tubes really cheap but befor he goes and gets them he wants to know if they will fit

Nope. Not even close. Lt motors have the same pattern o-oo-o, like a sbc. Ls motors are o-o-o-o, like a bbc. Totally different animals.
