dana 44 high pinion fill

Anyone got any idea what the correct fill capacity for a hp 44 iks? Im pretty sure if its overfilled it will just puke oil past the seals... i thought around 2 qts just wanna be sure.

thats what i have in my truck, just fill it to the fill plug. theres slingers inside the housing on the pinion that should keep oil from coming out.
the axle seals should be fine also.

if oil leaks out that means bad seal.
