And when I got mine they didn't have one for doing oil changes but that was like 30 years ago so they might now.

Secretary of State is where you get all of your Michigan certs. But I couldn't not tell you for sure for brakes and oil. But it wouldn't hurt to just stop in and ask.

Brake test is very difficult, Just renewed my certs. but it's taken at sec of states office, cost ya about 6 bucks per test.you pretty much have to have that one perfect your allowed 5 wrong questions. after that you fail the test. The suggestion I will give is, make sure you know the difference between your valves and what they do exactly.

i found the brake test to be super easy! lots of trick questions on all the test tho..like questions about ''extra thick pads'' for when rotors and stuff wear out..just remember there are no extra htick pads..theres quite a few questions about this..and yes all your test go right down to your sec of state..they arent very expensive..and you dont need a cert for changing oil because your not changing any hard parts..brakes is easy just take your time and relax..elctircals a pain in the ass tho lol
if your not susposed to break your truck why are new parts shiny:)driving hard racing car mudding trucks and killing buck.
