gm 4l60e problem

ok i have a 94 chevy 1/2 ton two wheel drive .  I hit a deer one morning and now i dont have 3rd gear or overdrive.  if i put the shifter in overdrive or 3rd it goes into 2nd gear.  if i pull it into low and shift it manually it will go to 2nd but stays there when you shift to 3rd or over drive.  i have replaced the speed sensor, checked linkage, wires was wondering if it could be the solonoid any help would be nice thanks

Did you check for a fluid leak?

it dont leak i have put close to a thousand miles on it manually shifting 1st to second and drive 45 to 50 keppin it about 2000 to 2500 rpm gets about 5miles a gallon like that though

I would say its probably shift cylinoids

Is your check engine light on. Had a 94suburban I was working on that was doing that. Replaced the trans for the guy and it still was doing it. Pulled the codes. Needed a tps I believe replaced that and the trans went back to having 3rd and overdrive
