hey everyone so i just got back to the state been away for the past few years for work but anyways. things have changed at the dunes and wondering how the new system works, seems kinda confusing to me and dont want to show up next year looking like a total ass and making the trip just to get turned around.
also, the better half has hinted about how she would like to get the bogger up there. so do they allow tractor tires? as in the 18.4-26 flavor. if not ill be getting some boggers and rims this winter among other things.

Voucher system changed.. as I understand it this is the new system:

Dune ready.. if you can legally drive it to the gate and on to the dunes this is "Dune ready" and no voucher is needed, this includes stickers.. state park, ORV, flag, exhaust.

If you trailer in, you need a parking lot voucher which must be obtained basically the day before you want to go in, as it has been the last few years.  This is a reservation for a parking spot.

I have heard they may also transfer the voucher system to the local camp grounds.. not sure.

there is talk of changing and possibly adding to the parking lot as well as the driveway system but I'm not sure if/when that will occur.  pretty much dune ready uses this driveway and parking lot uses that driveway..  supposed to speed things up.

as far as tractor tires.. not sure on the reg but I don't see where they would have an issue.. you might have one since tractors would not be best application for sand unless your into sunk.. but.. to each their own.

Over the Edge Sharpening systems, cutlery, shear, scissor sharpening

It's all fun and games till someone gets knocked up.. down or out !

Alright that doesn't seem to bad then, just Have to get vouchers for the days I want to go. Thank you for putting it in words I can understand, the state website was confusing

Yea I was thinking it might be a stuck fest with the tractors but I guess I'll see how things go this winter and funding for new rubbers

Think your luck with tractors on the dunes would depend upon conditions.. wet/dry.. driving habits.. and what part of the dunes your on.

don't usually see "stuck" out there unless there were attempted heroics involved or not aired down enough.
