I have like the title says, a Holley 600 single pumper. I want to know if i can put bigger jets in it and open it up a little bit, but dont know how or what to do, what size jets do i use, ect. im just running 194 cc stick heads with some valve work done and i have a Holley Contender dual plane intake. I know a 750 would be too much. Should i just leave it alone or could i get better performance by putting in bigger jets?

You could go up a couple sizes in jets and see what happens. You could get a Holley truck advenger 670 cfm.

you will have to play with the jets to get it tuned in... bigger or smaller Ive run a 355 10 to 1 2.02 heads .500 lift cam on a 600 holley np worked great just have to dial it in with jets and squirters

they sell books on tuning holleys that can be very helpful find one with pics so you can see what the plugs should look like and what they can look like if lean or rich.  it will also show and tell you how to change jets and such or find someone local who can come over and show you a few things to get going once you get the basics of holleys they are very easy to use

leave the carb alone if its set to stock spec.  valve work will not call for more jet. you need to set the carb to the motor needs. that means power valve, vacuum secondary spring. squirt, acel pump set right. it all depends on your set up of the vehicle. when we have motors on the dyno all set up we have to change stuff when in the vehicle.
