anyone have an issue with there lights flickering?

I have an 02 chevy tracker and the headlights, dashlights, dome lights all flicker above idle. I changed the battery for a good one and checked all the grounds even added a couple grounds. Nothing works. Need to figure it out. going to pull the alternator tomorrow and get it tested see if maybe thats bad.

Maybe where the harness attaches to the firewall? Might have got some moisture in there and it got corroded

cheak the ground at the drivers side front parking light ran into this a few times

looks like it is the alternator took it off and had it tested and it would not do anything for the guy so thinking that is the issue.

there new alternator and seems to be fixed find out tonight after dark when i can really see them flicker or not

Most likely the voltage regulator in the alternator, better off with a whole new one imo

Hope that fixed it for ya. If not check the actual switch that turns them on on my truck its on the dash and it was doing that and I had to replace the switch
