alte model dodge "yoda" needed!

well i was trying ti install a new plug in my dash for my ignition switch on my 2000 dakota and O.o found 2 wires melted together! if any dodge experts out their know where i can find the wireing diagram for the steering colomn  and for some dumb reason i belive my trans computer issues are related to the cobbled in universal ignition switch
