Bought a 1972 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd longbox a few weeks ago for parts for my 70.  it has an eaton rear end in it and im wondering what gears it has without pulling the covers? i was told that it would be 4.10s, 4.56s, or 5.13s.  thanks

any of the above, the couple i parted were 4.10 or 3.73, but they had 60 rears. just jack it up and give it a spin, that will get you into the ball park.

yeah, ur almost gunna have to pull the cover to get a def answer on that, u jack it up and spin it, and count the tire spins to how many time the pinion spins but thats just an educated guess....
