Found these while looking for new tires for my Suburban. Had 2 tread blowouts on two differant sets of BF Goodrich AT's. Won't buy them again. These are supposed to be rated for heavy hauling. What do you think? What do you know about these?

they look like the Cooper ATR    285 / 75 / 16

4 cooper atr,  there $508.00  mounted and  ballanced.   at  eds standred  in Durand.   i use the  ATRs  for plowing  and like them.

Well I emailed the seller and this is the response I got.

"THERE IS NO LOAD INDEX # ON THE TIRE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE IN THE HIGH 120'S RANGE SINCE ITS A 10 PLY TIRE. PRO METER IS A TIRE MADE IN CHINA. THESE ARE NOT RETREADS; THEY ARE NEW 1ST LINE TIRES. THANKS"

I like the tread pattern and if they really are a 10 ply 285 with a rating of 3,750 lbs they'd work perfect but I dunno.

BTW the 3,750 load capacity is off of the auction. I don't know if i want to put too much stock in what they say without some proof or at least a manufacturer I can contact.
