ok i have my jeep that i switched over to 3/4 tons well they only have 3.42's, so i am goin to regear. i was thinking goin to 4.56's or 4.88's is that to much with a 355 350/208 and 40's or 38's??
I had the full size thing it just bored me!!!

The only people you need in your life are the ones who prove they need you in theirs

Its all fun and games till someone gets knocked up, down or out

just one more

i'm running 4.56s and 38.5 bogs with a 208
and i can run 2 gear in 4 low with 400 horse.
if you go with the 40s you might want the 4.88s
but i'm pretty happy with my setup

Orangecrush

you'll be happy with 488's
Im runnin 488's with 40 hawgs and a small block with a 350 turbo/203.

4.88s should work good I use 4.56s locked both ends with a 350/208 2nd revlimiter or 3rd pulling fine with my 42 tsls!

I've got 456's 350/350/208 42"tsls and 3/4 tons in my jeep and it works good and other than the deathwobble it even drives down the road great. ==np

RIP_K52007

the few minutes i got the drive my blazer this year i was happy with the 4.56's 305/th350/np203 moved pretty good on 38.5's second time around the yard got on road n turned some dirt when i got on it.. next time around trans went out tho...
you would probably be happy with 4.56's if your motor has decent power.

s10 with 350-700-208 3.42 rear lincoln locker and 44's and 100 horsepower in 2 high rear wheel speed 50-60 mph. next year 400 hp 4.10 and new cut tires. should work awsome might even have to use low range.
