lift and body lift

i have a suspension lift on my truck the guy i bouht it from said it had a 4-6 in but wasnt foresure the guy he bought it from said 8in how can i tell,  also anyone have problems  taking out cab bolts when trying to take them out (any suggestions)

Measure the distance between the stops and the top of the axle. A normal truck will have about 1-3 inches of gap between the axle and the stop.

I have the same problem with my truck. The guy I got it from said it's a 6 inch lift, but it seems more like about about tallish 4 inch lift. Unless the springs have sagged a bit?
