when my truck park for long time  for example  overnight. then in am i start it it runs fine. then when i go to different place i park it then turn it off. then back in the truck in like 15 min and i start it again. it wont start until i press the gas pedal and wait for like 5 min then drive it. i was hoping you guys have that experince before so what is the problem??? fuel filter??? 1995 chevy k1500 4x4 tbi 350  ==pissed

Maybe the ignition module under the cap and rotor, seems to be very common.  I highly doubt that the engine is vapor locking, its still a little cold out for that.

lol.. i think we should make a post called "if your 350 wont start" and put "check the Ignition Control Module" on it, and sticky it to the top of the garage/tech section.

i know this truck i ve done looked at it  it seem dont want to start after it s warmed up unless u press gas and  rev it for lil bit then it ll be fine  .. i wonder if  that control module  has anything do with the fuel? seem like it s not getting fuel after being warmed up or something

sounds like somthing differnt... what that could be... i have no clue... but i'd stick a ignition module in it, see if it fixes it if not.. take it out and return it.

mine thermosata is broke too  but does it control fuel. i dont think so. but i am planning this weekend is put fuel inj bottle in it then fill it up with gas  also put new thermosata in it then remove the air filter out and start it to see anything bad or good?  what do you guys think?

i had another thought... it could just be the coil overheating, which the only way to fix that is clean up where it grounds, and if that dont work then replace it...

i would say its the cold start relay i think thats what it is called its on the tbi and it acts like a choke it closes when it cold for start up some times the spring gets wore out and it closes when its warm and you shut off the truck so thats why you hafta give it gas and rev it up just like a carb if the choke is not working right just my thought
