It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

It's not a holiday or a requirement but I came across this and wanted to share it. I see alot of people forgetting who gives us our rights and I just wanted to send out a little reminder.

The only problem i have with Iraq..... Its like 120 degree's outside...

just wait till the end of july hits, it gets up to 140, and in a humvee with no a/c, it really sucks
