FORD FLARESIDE

Well.........I have owned the Flareside since I bought it off the showroom in 1992.  It has gone through a lot of modifications over the last 16 years..............but this is the big one.

I just made a deal, and picked up a 500hp - 600 ft/lb torque monster - Big Block 460. It is also coming with a buit C6 (2400 stall) and a 205 t-case.  Its time for the Body off build.  The Patin boys and I will be installing the new drive train in the frame, while I am having the years of Michigan Salt fatigue removed from the body.  Hopefully by the first of July it will be ready for the Mud Runs and Car shows.

I need someone to find me a couple "Ford 500" emblems though.   ;D

Nice truck, can't wait to see it finished.  That is my all time favorite bodystyle for Ford.  I plan to put a flareside box on my F250, or at least a shortbox.  Them flareside boxes are hard to find.

Had to take 6 months off to do some other builds, vehicle repairs, and Momma's Honey do list.  I will be back at it again starting next week.
I should have a bunch more pictures soon.
