front drive shaft..tips

ok so lifted truck and front drive shaft spindle was more than half out

have 2 that are to short and 1 that  is 2 in longer in the tube but spindle gear on that one i gernaded...junk yard wanted 75 for one they had..kinda well broke
so im goin to try and make 1 drive shaft out of 3
anything i need to know would be helpfull ,,never tryed or even seen it done

just grind the ends off and re weld..correct? 
gttin anxious truck been out of garage for 3 weeks and aint tryed 4x4

make sure all yolks are in line........very important......yes grind off weld and then pull the cap out of the tube...just that easy....

when im grinding is there a cup of somsort that the weld fills?just grindin wheel and go ?

yeah it's a cup on the end of the ds. tac weld it in several spots all the way around and double check your straightness before you do your full weld.. and TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!!! i know how you get sometimes with stuff...GO SLOW!!!!!! if ya want i can get someone to do it for ya, he did my rear driveshaft, it still holding up
