buggy style cages?

Hi everyone. I have some questions about cage styles and tube sizes. I want to take the trashed body off of my truck ant build a buggy style cage for it. Using the frame as a base. I've done some research online and everyone talks about hrew tube and dom tube.  Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated
