NOS you have to refill and the runtime on a bottle isnt that great, exspecially if you use it alot, a low 5psi turbo boost should be fairly save to run on a deccently built engine, as far as turbo lag, i wouldnt worry much about it unless you plan on racing, ive seen pro-chargers and turbos ran on stock engines with a low boost, they make more power but still safe to run, just make sure you start with your engine running rich, then fine tune it
