transmission governor ??

what can i do to the trans in my truck so it will stay in  1 st gear???  a couple people said to do somethin to the weights in there    oh its a 350 th  trans

put it in first? i thought only 700s shifted... i could be wrong

no the 400  will shift into 2nd  at 5500 on there own even if u hold it in 1st  inless u mod them   

the 350  should stay in 1st  if u pull it down in 1st manuley

Take the weights off lol then it wont shift out of first...

or just tie it with some mechanical wire it will stay in first all the time even if ya got it in drive

kinda weird  if i put it in first it still shifts into  2nd then 3rd  pretty quickly  like 50 feet or less   if i had more engine  er hp 3rd might be ok but  not yet  so if i wire the weights it wont shift at all

yes this doesnt have a detent rite just the vacum module and ya might have to adjust  the vaccum module by turning the little screw inside left or right to slow the shift point down also the screw is inside the vacum line port

theres somethin you can do to the governor, i think you replace a spring with a piston pin - pm mudman he knows
