old school truck dude

The spring weight determines how soon the secondaries open. Ya gotta get it to run right off the primaries before u can set the secondaries. As long as its gettin a good squirt itll accelerate. Make ABSOLUTELY SURE that the top of the plunger and all corresponding linkage all the way to the butterflyshaft has no play or slop whatsoever. When you move the throttle on that carb that pump needs to move right along with it. This is real important.

Already checked it. There's no slop in it whatsoever. Im thinkin I may need to bump up the jet size a lil tho, cuz its handling the lighter spring real well, and then maybe ill go back to the stock spring and if I have to run a smaller shooter so the shot will last longer cuz the truck is so dang heavy for a quick shot to really be effective
