Flint's budget 2012-13

Came across this figured I'd share it if anyone was interested.

2012-2013 Budget released by Flints "Emergency Manager" Michael Brown.

Loosing 19 police down to 108. Those 108 will be working 12 hour shifts.

Loosing 39 Fire Fighters down to 54.

$143 will be added to your property taxes to continue weekly trash pick up.

$100 will be added to your property taxes for road maintenance and street lighting etc..

of course they didn't..... I mean what better way to bring flint back.... higher ups keep gettin their fat checks, and the guy that can barely put food on his table now has to pay more....... not to mention the laying off of over 50 of the public service employees, yea hes doing one hell of a job     ...... maybe he should run for president

I mean honestly... if it came down to getting biweekly trash pickup instead of weekly and not raising taxes $143 I'm sure people could live with it lol.

Crazy when violence keeps going up you would think theyed hier more police and fire people. What where they thinking. Government is too big with too much power.
