allis chalmers ca

alright i have a question a buddy of mine just bought a allis chalmers ca for 600$ and only had 3hrs on rebuild was locked up but we got it running after pulling the head n just tappin the piston now it runs n drives but i was looking up the serial# ca 28483 and i cant seem to find ANY allis chalmers with that serial# can anyone tell me what year it is the guy we got it from said it was a 52 but unsure any help is appreciated thanks!!!

Check tractordata.com, they will give serial number ranges by year for most tractors.

According to them its a 53. I had to search allis chalmers c, then pick ca as next model. Hope this helps!

That is the starting serial number any number after that is a 53 up till the starting number  for 54
