Big game fishing trip in flordia

My friend of 15years and I are going to Port Charlotte this spring break. We plan fishin everyday and already have one chartered. They just take us out to some island and fish for 4hrs and catch what ever, then they clean them for us and package them.  But we started looking into a second charter. We found a 6 or 8 hr tarpin charter for a reasonable price.  ($200)

Port Charlotte is on the gulf side of flordia.

So my question is, have any of you gone fishing gulf side, and is there anything you would recommend or a charter you have personally gone on.

I've literally don't really know about any other fish than fresh water. Lol

if you out there your just going to love it lol.    we went out about 30 miles  couldnt see nothing but blue   thats 1/2 way between state and mexico      grandpa took us out  20yrs ago    good luck fishin
