im looking into purchasing a 2006 or newer GM diesel 2500HD. good? bad?

anybody own on of these trucks? any issues? anything that would stop me from hooking up to a 30 foot gooseneck and driving away with my truck on it? what do you guys think of these newer GM trucks?

My dad has a 06 duramax, his fuel mileage sucks. You can get a 07 and the fuel mileage is better. As far as hauling a gooseneck, it will tow it without issue

you wont regret it...they tend to have a few gloplug issues but they are no biggie..and milage shouldnt be bad.theres something wrong with your 06.

my 07 hasn't had an issue-pulls great and mileage is better than most gassers!never going back to gas!

My co worker has on 07 new body style he averages 17-20 with a k&n mbrp turbo back exhaust with the dpf delete and a ppe programmer he runs on 2 out of the 5 levels it has not including stock. On 4 it hauls serious ass I've never seen it on 5
