i,m afraid with my new engine i,m going to spin my tires on the rim and cant afford bead locks, I've herd you can run bolts through the rim into the bead, i imagine you cant run them through the bead so how do they do it ? anybody ever done this?

Use self tapping screws 1"-1 1/4" long... you can predrill the holes in the rim, but not necessary if you dont want to.....i pre drill then a squirt of permatex then the screw...kinda over board but better safe then sorry...and you do run these right into the beads....on a 15" rim i use around 30 screws....try and space them out as even as possible if your going on the road at all to try and keep it balanced....

They make templates to mark the screw holes. I would mark the rims and tires with paint to see if they are moving first.

speedway motors has 15" beadlock kits that you install on your existing rim, $42.99 per wheel

Not sure on diameter....they are just self tapping sheet metal screws with the hex head on them....i think they are all the same diameter just different lengths

shootin for 700hp out of a 383 stroker with 300 shot so maybe a 1000hp but i guess i,m really concerned about how my cut boggers bead fit so loose on the bead of these aluminum rims i want to run.
