welding to a corp 14

Does anyone weld there tabs for a 4 link suspension directly to the pumpkin or make some sort of hat to go over it and weld to that considering  it being cast?

i have a truss that goes over the center section and my upper 4 link tabs are welded to that.. you could weld it to the cast.. but welding cast sucks...
