Got creative!!

Well I figured if the cummins guys can make a huge air filter fit I can too! I got online found the one they were using and ordered it from car quest.

To make it fit I had to modify my factory intake tube and a bracket that went from the fuse box to the fender. I put a 3" piece of 4" exhaust inside the filter and clamped the filter and hose to it. And put about an 8" section in the factory tube.

Here's what I ended up with, I get a lot more air in and it dose have a little more intake noise.

Not really, I did this more because my factory air box was broke and I'm to cheap to buy a cold air. Plus the cotton filters let a lot of debris through and I like my turbo. This filter dyno'd on a 12v though makes something like 11hp over stock. 

My big improvements will come from a 1.0" turbine housing and a wicked wheel 2 they will make the truck spool a lot faster and since mines a stick I loose most of my boost when I shift. Throw a 3" round down pipe into the mix and ill have a whistlein sob. Other than that little stuff the only other thing for it I'm going to do is a beans diesel programed ts 6 position chip. YouTube the smoke and lope tune.  If I can't out run the cummins ill atleast intimidate them

we run those same filters here on the rhib boats on my ship, they have the old mechanical 12v cummins, and yes we got those lil boats rolling coal
