letter from dte

I got this  in the mail the other day  from DTE    real fancy  letter with a bar graft chart and a bunch of numbers    it said they were informing me that over the last 2 months ive used 14.9 % more electricity than my 5 closest neighbors anyone else ever get anything like this ?

Nope. But somehow I doubled my gas usage vs this month last year, figure that one out.

Yep, we get one like that from consumers energy every couple years lol, they even put tips and tricks in there on how to reduce energy usage.... but when your running two 80gal compressors, a Pole barn full of lights, and heaters...ohh can't forget the radio lol it adds up, summers no better since we got it AC in there to keep it cool

Yea I use 20% more than everyone in my area. I get a letter every month or 2 with the charts and graphs. I have consumers. As long as I pay my bill on time every month, wonder why they care? Seems like a waste of paper...

Yup got 1 once and a letter telling me that I had a extra charge for using more

Yeah I had a 1200 dollar consumers energy bill I fought with for 3 months they said it was when I lived in Holland mi the problem was I never lived there they said everything was taken care of then 2 months later I got a bill for 1800 bucks lol I finally got it settled after another month of arguing with them lol

I get one from consumers.  I think it's another bs government mandate.  If all of us are using more than our neighbors how does that work?
