Uncle Steve took me out to the mounds and introduced me to BD, Been coming to the mounds and to the site ever since.

i started watching the  trucks out at the mounds ,then looked at the pictures.talked to bd online one day and told him that id be out the following day.so i met bd and i have been here ever sence.the is the best site i have been on and it has some of the greatest people in the world.ill be a    member the rest of my life.

wow i know i put one in here along time ago but anyway i used to bog wiht the psyco boggers and big daddy come out to one of our boggs to take picture so i used to go look at the pictures on the web and one sunday i decided to take the kids out in my newer truck and ended up goin 2 times like the people so i built another truck to play in and here we are for life

I founded Mounds Pounders 7 yrs ago, we almost call ourselves the Genesee County Offroad Club,
& we renamed it after ctgray4x4 said he was gettin a Got Mud sticker made for his windshield, to the Got Mud Club of Genesee County...
Theres some history for ya.....
started out about 8 guys who liked to wheel together on sundays & Grown to a huge club.....

We had not been to the mounds in about 10 years.  After building the Jeep, we decided to take a drive out there to see what it was like.  Things have changed there a bit.  We met a couple with a little guy.  They were nuts !  Then we met a guy who had a 15 year old with a Jeep.  He blew a bunch of his trans that day.  He was heading to Lake MI to finish it off.  His dad kept telling us more and more about Got Mud ?  How it was family friendly.  We talked about how keeping kids busy kept them safer.  It is only natural with kids and mud.  Then we met Jay, and his grandson.  When my kids saw the 15 year old, then saw Playin Dirty go through that mud, it was all over.  Playin Dirty, the 15 year old and Jays grandson all their super heros !!!!!!  We came back the next week to sell a tow bar, and got stickers from BD.  Now, all my kids ever talk about it Got Mud ? and beg to go out there all the time.  What a great bunch of people there is here.  Glad we asked, "What is this Got Mud ?"

big daddy is one of my good buds and weve been wheelin at the mounds for a long time. ive been in got mud since before it started, but  just got internet service recently.

Hmmmm....basically KosherNerd got his Tracker, wanted to see what it could do, so he was going through some construction by our houses, and he accidentally went into a farmers field and sunk down to the frame. Not to be deterred, he went and borrowed my Ranger to pull it out of....oh, of course he didn't have anybody else, so he just ripped that tracker out of the field with my truck without anybody driving it. But when he told me how well my truck performed, it got me thinking about taking it offroad legally somewhere...started poking around, found the mounds, happened to go out the first time on a Sunday, rode around with another tracker, realized we were wheeling with some Got Mudders, got on the website and have only missed one sunday since!

On a sidenote, I'm happy to report this is post #50....pretty sure that means I'm not a newbie anymore!
