Why do people think everything has to have a meaning, or a purpose? Cant something be self sustaining, it being its own definition? with existing being its sole purpose?

1968...and bill..i know the name, but in my narrowed reality, i have become a person that finds enlightment in the small things around me and have yet to embellish myself with the works of the masters of thought..mabey one day...the meaning of life? thats an unansureable question...the point of life?...only when you can clear the mind of everyday noncense and remove all thought of the meanial problems that seem to shape the direction of our immediate future can you discover the reason for wich you strive..the bare esentials...family, friends or just what makes you happy...its diffrent for all of us...until you figure out who you are, you wont be able to figure out the point of life...youre own life...
