While i do ==salute the men and women who serve our country in this present day war i still do not agree with the reason were over there. I believe we have somewhat forgotten what this war was orginally caused by, and who we still haven't captured. 9-11 and osama bin laden. While sadam hussein was a major player in 9-11 we still have yet to capture osama. I believe that the people of iraq should be able to run their country the way they want to. Not like we want them to. Which is primary cause of the bombers taking out our troops. They don't want us there and i believe we shouldn't be there. The real reason were over there is because bush is a big oil guru and he wants control of foreign oil. This war is causing the extreme burden on not only our country's economy but the families of those who are over there. We should kill those who threaten us and simply leave. a=f

Readers may be interested to know that these wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.

I am PROUD to say my brother-in-law is a 82nd Airborne Soldier!  He is due to be deployed in January, leaving behind a wife, 4 year old son, and a new daughter, but he feels it is his duty to go and represent our country with PRIDE.

i read this and think of easter dinner this year where someone at the table said " I will never suport the troops fighting over there" to them my reply is not only did you spit in our grandfathers face (rip) and that of an uncle that did 3 tour's while his wife was at home with 2 sick boy's, or my fathers face or for that fact anyone who has ever fought so your fat lazy ass can sit at home eating flipping bon-bon's and getting paid to do nothing! if you can't support those that fight and give all to keep us safe then pack your SH$T AND GET THE HELL OUT!

Bless you all here on Got Mud past present and future that have severed our country and know I fly my flag with pride. I still cry when I hear Proud to be an American, and nothing make's my happier then hearing our boy's are comeing home and seeing the pictures of men grabbing up their kids and wife's and showing them love. it's that love that you show to all of us and that makes you all hero's in my eye's!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
