my dad took me to the dunes when i was 2

been taking my son out with me since I built the truck.  he is 5.  the wife is starting to yell at me cause he wants to start building something on tractor tires already.  I do agree on changing the driving habits when the children are in your vehicle.  Safety First.

I think it's awesome when people get kids involved but I hate it when they don't watch them. Not watching kids extremely closely=bad time for all. It stresses everyone out worrying about the kids.

i know last year my son wasnt that into it( he turned 2 in nov.) we took him to the mounds a couple times and he didnt like all the bouncing around but did like to watch the trucks and quads. lately he has gotten into monster jam on tv and always asks to watch the vids on here. so i think he is going to enjoy it more this year. and i agree with mlankton. i watch him like a hawk. some people out there dont watch out for you so i really doubt they care about the little ones. i have to watch the motorcycles so they dont run me over so i really have to watch my son. we have a harness for him so he cant go to far.

Id say it depends on the kid.  Mine loves riding in the truck with me....sitting high and seeing everything. hes not even 2 yet.  Although I tried giving him a ride in the bobcat and he ran from me.  lol  I guess he dont like loud turbo diesel.

I've taken my step-son (6), my niece (7) and both of my nephews (4 and 5), I haven't taken my daughter yet, but she's only 8 months old, none of my vehicles go anywhere inless everyone is properly strapped in, doesn't matter how slow or fast, or if its on or off road...

I feel if you have young kid with you your driving should be different... I dont have any kids but I have given lots of my friends kids rides and I aways take it easy, I throw some mud so the have a good time but I dont get on my rig like I would if the kid was not in it! safey frist!

I agree 100% I definately change my driving style with a little one in the truck, for safety the most but also so I don't scare them, then they won't want to come back.

my oldest two have been camping and trail riding since there were about 1. but the twins were born in december and in april they were buckled in their carseats and night and we would take em out driving trails and the bay shore to get them to fall asleep. now they love it. except the youngest of the twins. she dont liek to be dirty. (p.s. she cant be mine lol).
I think as long as you use common sense with the kids in the rig then its all good. THey are NEVER TO YOUNG..
