Update on Cannaert:

His surgery was this morning, and he is doing well at the moment. I don't believe there were any complications besides some bleeding that subsided before the end of surgery. Right now he's at St. Joe's in Ann Arbor and he'll be there for a couple days... hopefully, he'll be better so we can tote him around to the Byron bog this holiday, but if not, everyone should know that he would LOVE to be there I think that Cannaert and his family appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers through this difficult time in his life, and I know that all of you helped get him through his surgery this morning. I'll be sure to keep you all posted on his improving condition over the next few days.

UPDATE:
Cannaert has to have an unexpected second surgery because his vision went bad... so if you pray, keep him in your thoughts and prayers today as he goes through his second surgery today. Thank You

UPDATE: Eroq and I went down tonight to see him, he's doin alright.. he's in the SICU (step-down intensive care unit) for at least 24 hours and then he'll get moved to another room... i'm not quite sure how long he'll be there, but he's getting pretty spoiled watching family guy and eating ice chips and popsicles... ha. I guess his second surgery went really well, and the doctor said he got the pressure off of his optic nerve and everything, so his vision should get better We're going down again tomorrow morning, so expect another post tomorrow afternoon!

UPDATE:
Eroq and i made another trip down to SJMHS in A^2 and Cannaert is being moved from the ICU to a normal room now, so that's always a good sign. The nurse said he could start eating, so i think we're going to bring him some cocoa pebbles and white castle. hah. hopefully he'll get better-er and come home soon
